Guangzhou Huanfang Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “we”, “us” or the “Company”) understands how important personal information and data security are to you. We have prepared this Privacy Policy in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China (PIPL), the Cybersecurity Law and the Data Security Law of the People’s Republic of China, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable laws and regulations.
[Local-first principle]: Evoke (念来) (the “Software”) is designed as a 100% on-device, standalone macOS productivity tool. All core features (including radial invocation, window capture, 24-cell grid snapping, workspace save and restore, and the black-hole discard) run entirely in your Mac’s local memory. The Software has zero analytics, zero telemetry and zero third-party advertising trackers, and never collects personal data unrelated to its own functions. Apart from one single exception — Pro licence verification — the Software communicates with no server at all; that exception and the data it transmits are described in Section 4 of this Policy.
To deliver a seamless native desktop experience on macOS, the Software requests the following two restricted system-level permissions on first run:
Purpose: to globally listen for the modifier key you actively press (for example a single press of Option, a double press of Command, or a custom shortcut), and to safely call native macOS accessibility window APIs to adjust a target application window’s position and size when you use the 24-cell split or workspace restore.
Security boundary and commitment: we firmly reject keylogger behaviour. The Software never records, stores or uploads any keystroke history or typed content; event listening only determines the modifier-key state transiently within the local RunLoop and discards it immediately after use.
Purpose: only when you invoke the radial disk and hover over a specific application sector, to capture partial graphics frames of that application’s visible windows in order to render the instant 4K hover gallery and window previews.
In-memory isolation and immediate destruction: all captured image frames are held only in your Mac’s volatile RAM. As soon as the radial disk collapses or focus changes, the system immediately releases them via Swift automatic reference counting (ARC) and explicit image-buffer eviction; screen images are never written to local disk files and are never sent through any external network interface.
To provide genuine software buyouts and Pro feature licensing, we process orders through the following compliant commercial channels:
The Software stores only the necessary configuration on your local Mac:
~/Library/Application Support/ and UserDefaults; You have ultimate control over the macOS permissions you grant. You can go to macOS System Settings → Privacy & Security at any time and turn off authorization for Evoke in the Accessibility and Screen Recording lists respectively. After a permission is turned off, the dependent features degrade gracefully and will not cause any abnormal effect on your system.
As the product evolves and laws and regulations change, we may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. In the event of a major substantive change, we will post a notice prominently on the official website or state it in the release notes of a new version of the Software. If you continue to use the Software after a revision takes effect, you are deemed to have read and understood the revised policy.
If you have any questions, complaints, suggestions or legal enquiries about this Privacy Policy or our data-handling practices, please contact us through the following official channels:
